NVIDIA reveals new details of favorable graphics card - releasing allegedly in a few days
The GeForce 30 collection is a family member of graphics processing devices established by Nvidia, being successful the GeForce 20 series. The collection was revealed on September 1, 2020, and also started shipping on September 17, 2020. The cards are based upon the Ampere architecture as well as function hardware-accelerated ray tracing (RTX) with Nvidia's second-generation RT cores as well as third-generation Tensor Cores. The lineup is created to complete with AMD's Radon RX 6000 collection of cards. The cards include the entry-level RTX 3050, RTX 3050 ti. The midrange RTX 3060, RTX 3060 ti. The high-end RTX 3070, RTX 3070 Ti as well as RTX 3080. The enthusiast RTX 3080 Ti as well as the RTX 3090. This is the last generation from NVIDIA to have main support for Windows 7 as the current vehicle drivers readily available for this generation no more have Windows 7 support.
The current hardware scarcity has some surprises on offer. Now Nvidia has probably reported indirectly that you reclaim an old graphics card. This is the RTX 2060, which should get an upgrade donated.
Currently, it is difficult to get a cheap graphics card, because you pay everywhere a juicy surcharge on computer hardware.
NVIDIA had already stated that prices will remain high 2022 and there is currently no prospect of recovery.
Now it is long speculated that NVIDIA of RTX 2060 wool upgrade. But so far, all there were only guesses and correct hand proof evidence for such a graphics card did not exist. Now Nvidia has delivered clear evidence that such a graphics card could come soon. The speech is already from coming week.
RTX 2060 gets more video memory and should be available at the beginning of December
Where the info comes from? The info comes from Nvidia itself, because the manufacturer had updated both its product side with the 12 GB model and its driver info (via pcgamer.com). On the other hand, pages like Videocam want to have additional sources that you do not explain in detail (via VideoCardz.com)
When should it give the graphics card? The magazine Videocam reports that NVIDIA is planning the release of RTX 2060 12 GB already on 7 December. After all, that would be next to Tuesday.
However, it is not yet known how expensive the graphics card and how well it will be available. Currently, you pay for a GeForce RTX 2060 at least 530 Euro (via Goethals.DE), the recommended retail price (MVP) of the RTX 2060, however, is 299 euros.
RTX 2060 12 GB does not provide all functions of an RTX 3060
What should the graphics card offer? NVIDIA wants to miss the old RTX 2060 a memory upgrade. So far, the RTX 2060 was only with 6 GB video memory in the trade. Now there should be an RTX 2060 with 12 GB video memory.
The RTX 3060 offered more power than the RTX 2060 compared to the RTX 2060. If you look at the current specifications of the RTX 2060 12 GB, then the models are approximately at the same level of performance. Compared to the previous RTX 2060 Super the 12 GB model should consume around 10 watts more (184 watts vs 175 watt TDP).
Basically, it should be remembered that the RTX 2060 is a graphics card, which came on the market in January 2019 and still sets on the old graphics chip of Nvidia (Turing).
The graphics card does not support PCIe 4.0 Also not there is resizable support Retracing performance is also lower than the new RTX generation.
RTX 2060 is aimed at beginners in gaming
Who should buy such a graphics card? With the RTX 2060, it is directed mainly to persons who want to play in Full HD or in WHO with reduced details.
Especially for users who are looking for a graphics card and in the current situation are either not ready to spend hundreds of euros for a GPU or no graphics card could buy, an RTX 2060 could be an alternative.
Interested users could still not buy any RTX 3000 graphics card, but at least that graphics cards for gamers would be available and users would not have to pay thousands of euros for graphics cards on eBay, because the greed of Scalper is great.
