Tour of the Blood and Wine Portal Puzzle
Gerald will have the task of finding a secret laboratory to unlock the new mutations' mechanics in Blood and Wine. Most of the road is simple, you will have to fight some spectral panthers and at a point you will end up in a room full of arches. There is a great statue in the middle and some gargoyles in the niches aside. Those empty arches around the room are actually portals, but must be activated first. When you enter the room and approach the great statue, one of the gargoyles will come alive. It is relatively slow, although it can cause a lot of damage. Use Queen and strong attacks to eliminate it. When defeating it, it will drop an element that you must place on the pedestal near the statue. That is when all portals are activated. You are halfway now. Image source: CDPR through Once the portals are active, stop directly in front of the statue with the front to your back. Although there are many portals that you can jump, you must jump to the one who looks at the statue. After doing this on the first level, you will be teleported to a second level. Jump down from here, then go up to a rock to reach the level 2 portal that the statue faces. From here, just any portal continues at your level to which the statue is faced. He does that for defeating the puzzle of the portal. To get more information about The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, including guides, tips, tricks and functions, see our wiki.
